Wandering through the forest with her bow out in her left hand and a quiver of 20 arrows on her back she was looking around for animals to hunt and take home to eat. She was listening for any movement and would stop occasionally to see if any animals were around.

In a tree, not far from the location the hunting woman was at, someone lay on a branch. The person was silently observing a small family of deer near her tree that was looking for food. They dug around the ground a little and grazed a bit. She felt something approaching from behind her, but down on the ground. Closing her eyes she tried to reach out to sense further who or what it was.

Stopping she listened carefully for any animals and then pressed herself against a tree before looking around it and seeing a family of deer. She knocked an arrow and took aim saying a few words to herself and thanking the forest for letting her find this family of deer. She took aim steadying her sights.

Sensing her new companion readied focus as a warrior would, she opened her eyes and leaned a bit forward on the branch. Then snapped a little one off the one she sat at and made a howl of a wolf, seeming as real as an actual wolf, scaring off the deer. She almost immediately pressed her body against the tree itself, her tail wagging a bit and her heart racing, whether this person would find her or not. It always was such an exciting game to her, the cat and mouse people played with wild animals.

She relaxed on the arrow but kept it knocked while looking around for the wolf that just howled. "Where is the wolf that just scared off my dinner?" She then pushed herself off of the tree she was hiding behind and started to look around listening carefully for any sounds of a wolf.

Up in the tree she kept herself deadsilent, holding her breath a few times, feeling the tension. She didn't dare to turn her head, but couldn't stop the tip of her tail wagging like a cat on the lure, either. Her ears were like radars, hearing the steps the woman took, as well as the breathing of her. The only difference between the hunter and its prey at this moment was that she had no protection in clothes, at all. While the hunter did.

She stopped walking still keeping an arrow knocked and looking around while listening for any sounds. "Show yourself wolf."

Adrenaline was going through her like crazy as she dared to turn her head around and look at the other side of the branch. She saw the hunter with her back turned to her. She could either stay silent or go for the run, and see how that turned out. Then there was always the question, stay in her current form or return to her wolf form. She couldn't quite decide which to do, while looking at the apparent Elf, seen her ears.

She relaxed a bit and put her arrow back in her quiver before looking around and listening once more and then starting to walk off. "Guess no dinner tonight." She seemed a bit glum about this.

She let out a sigh of relief that she wasn't discovered and let her tail hang off the branch relaxing, wagging gently. She closed her eyes, imagining what could have happened ad she been discovered. She might be actually on the run now, or fighting even.

She stopped walking hearing a small noise from a tree and turned looking up at it.

She heard the woman turn, opened her eyes and looked right into those of the hunter. In a jolt of adrenaline she bolted of the branch and jumped to another, which broke off under her weight, causing her to crash down between two fallen trees, giving her fortunate cover for a couple seconds from detection.

She saw someone jump from one tree to another before crashing down where she then lost sight of them. She tilt her head and tried to find the person. "Are you alright? I saw you fall from a tree."

She rubbed her head, going over her left ear as well. "You certainly are one of the lesser good hunters, if this is how you approach prey. You don't even give chase. I could have run off by now." She stayed where she was, sitting up straight, her hand still on her ear.

"Prey? Why do you say that?" She approached slowly "I don't hunt people." She tilt her head confused a bit. "Are you alright? Do you need help?"

She turned around, looking at the woman, putting up a not amused face, her tail swinging behind her and her ears flattening out a big. "I don't need help of you people. And I'm fine, thanks."

She looked at her and blinked holding her hand out to her offering to help her up. "Why don't you want help?"

She looked up at the woman. "Why would I want it?" She quickly made a yank for the bow and sank her fangs in it, just to fall on the ground again with her prize in her mouth, another not amused look on her face as she lay there. A chill went over her bare skin, feeling she was being observed. Something she didn't like, at all.

She grabbed for her bow after the girl took it but then stopped seeing the bow was in the girl's mouth. "Give me my bow back."

"Why." Her eyes turned up, looking at the woman. She sure looked older then she herself did. And from what she could see it would be a formidable opponent. Not an easy target. Nor someone you'd want to mess with. But it wouldn't keep her from putting her paw in the sand.

"It doesn't belong to you and was crafted by my father." She looked at the girl as she tried to hold back tears remembering her parents. "It's all I have to remember him by."

"So you don't remember him at all, but you do remember this was made by him. Rather odd, don't you think? But how many of my people did this thing kill already? Surely you didn't think of that." She continued to gnaw on it, even though she wasn't doing any damage at all. It was more like a kitten biting on a toy.

"I remember him well but that's more a memento of his." She then looked at her and grabbed for the bow gain. "What do you mean you're people? I don't use it to kill people I just hunt game with it."

She let go of it as she spat out some splinters, apparently having done something after all. "You all are so arrogant, thinking you're the dominant species around here. You always assume when someone looks like you, they are the same. You always think that everything is about you. Well newsflash, you're not the only ones on this planet." She sat up straight, her legs to the sides and took her tail in her hands, grooming it. "You all think too high of yourselves."

she grabbed her bow and looked at the girl. "What are you talking about?" She the sat down examining the bow to see if she could fix it.
