In the park again

Dionaea sat on the park bench, her laptop cradled in her arms, when her phone rang. She answered it, and it was her employer on the line. He asked if she was nearly done, because time was running out, both for them, and for her. She replied that she was nearly done, she just needed a few more bits of data, and asked for more time, hanging up the phone. They were getting impatient...and she didn't want to fight anyone...and yet she didn't want to be killed either...what should she do?

A little red light started to blink, indicating she had received an email. The laptop also started to make a beeping sound, as if making sure the new mail would be noticed.

She jumped, nearly dropping her laptop. They'd just called her...what more could they want? She opened the laptop on her lap, and sifted through her mail. What could they want with her? Were they going to kidnap her if she didn't reply to this as well?

Yet instead of a call or mail from her known contact people, she had an odd looking golden icon in the middle of her screen. It had a bit of the form of a symmetric feather, as if made of metal. It was turning like a coin slowly, not doing anything else.

She looked at it curiously. "What the..." She hesitantly clicked on it...what was this?

As she clicked it, the icon disappeared, but made place for a map of the Noricum Sector. It was detailed and had markings at several landmarks, naming them accordingly. Then the map zoomed out, a symbol indicating it was loading. When the symbol disappeared, it had found the location Dionaea was at currently and marked it, to then mark a spot in Noricum with a lock on symbol. Whatever the program was, it had shut all other systems on stand by and would not shut down.

"Wh-what is this? What's happening to my computer!?" She panicked, much to the surprise of everyone passerby. "My father spent good money on this..." She frantically tried to 'fix' whatever she thought was wrong, since it was acting strangely. What had that lady done to her laptop? Her OS architecture must have been too much for her machine...

The map stayed on, the target icon blinking at the location in Noricum. A text in an apparent ancient language appeared under it. The only things you could make up were 2 number. "01". It kept blinking consistently, as if telling her to go, like a treasure map would give her the location of its most sacred of treasures. It was almost trying to lure her to it, it seemed.

After a few minutes of no success trying to wipe it from her computer, she stared at it. That was a dangerous part of Noricum... "Father would never let me go there..." She looked around, unsure if people were looking over her shoulder. She figured this was someone's idea of a prank, costing her a good computer with valuable data on it...but it was a map...it even showed her own location...how was that? Whoever sent it must be watching her... She got up, and started walking in the direction of the gate. She was already afraid of her employer and the woman she'd worked on...what other dangers were coming her way? Was she capable of defending herself?

The icon with her location started to move ever so slightly as she walked in the direction of the of Gate. Yet the target didn't move a bit.
